The customs will start to use
“People’s Republic of China Customs manufacture Trade Manual”
It is learned from Customs Head Office, since January 1, 2006, the customs throughout the country will start to use the unified “People’s Republic of China Customs Processing Trade Manual”, former “Import/export goods Register Manual of manufacture/assembling and medium/small compensation trade”, “People’s Republic of China Customs Import Goods Manufacture Register Manual” and “People’s Republic of China Customs Register Manual for foreign-investment venture’s product export contract which need import goods” (abbr. “Register Manual”) will stop to use; before the time, enterprises can use the recorded “Register Manual” until the verification and cancel works (quota of register manual) are finished.
Manufacture trade manual is an important customs supervision/management certificate of the enterprises who deal with manufacture trade to register/record (modify) for transacting manufacture trade contract, goods import/export and verification/cancel. To meet the development/requirements of new situation, make further efforts on standardize the management of manufacture trade, simplify the procedure of applying for manufacture trade for enterprises, Customs Head Office decided to start using “People’s Republic of China Customs Manufacture Trade Manual” since January 1, 2006. New manual has readjusted and perfected the form and content of existing “Register Manual”, it is more scientific, and was divided into general type and specific type according to the importation/exportation frequency and item number of enterprises, enterprises can order it by own needs. “People’s Republic of China Customs Manufacture Trade Manual” was unified printed by Customs Head Office; it costs RMB 5.00 for each book.
Customs Head Office remind every manufacture trade enterprises go to local customs to verify and cancel outdated manufacture trade manual in time.
